Looking for a great team-building experience for larger teams, or can’t commit to the full 6-hour run of The Insiders?
This game is a corporate version of our classic 6 hours ‘The Insiders’ game, (As seen in the Independent and Stylist Magazines) only redesigned to run in 60-90 minutes, with a live gamesmaster on hand via email/instant messenger. The general scenario is ‘corporate espionage’ set in the corporate world of Wexell – your job is to infiltrate their company, go undercover and uncover a mole for them. It tackles issues like online security, following procedures, communication and working together.
It’s a very realistic, alternative reality game, great for corporate teams who would prefer a more contextual real-world game than ‘escape the zombie apocalypse.
How does it work?
Select how many teams you have – we recommend splitting teams into around 5 players per team, so if you have 20 players, you have 4 teams.
Say your activity is booked for 4 pm. At 3:50 pm, they gather into their own separate groups via your video conferencing software, nominating a ‘team leader’ to receive the start of the game. At 4 pm sharp every team leader receives the start of the game, at the same time, and will share it with the group with a mix of pasting into group chat – screen sharing – half the fun is figuring out how to work together.
They then have a mix of web hunts, puzzles, cryptic ciphers to solve in an alternative reality situation. When they finish, they will have a piece of information which they must email to our in-game character. The winner is the first team to do so, and we can feedback on the times as a leaderboard to you.
They also get their own printable papercraft trophy, which if we have enough teams playing, we like to customize with the company’s logo as a super cute moment of the day.
We send you all the details, easily forwardable to excite your team, complete with fun calendar invites and suggested dress codes/music playlists, etc.
